The updates on this website will be rare, I've moved over to "Web2.0" for personal things. This website will only be updated when new software, tools, products, etc. are added. This update might remove some newer information, as I lost some of my web files and accidently uploaded the changes onto the server.

Website updates are getting less and less frequent, another backlog this time. I am currently traveling through Europe, will be back in Australia in October.
PAL: Physics Abstraction Layer has been updated. The vision processing system should be publicly available soon as well as the vehicle simulator.

The Melbourne Syntax Party is over. The party was a great success with some great entries. I also got to check out the fantastic Pixar exhibition while I was there. Congratulations to cTrix and gaiaSword for organizing the event!

Finally got around to updating the website : did a bit of a backlog. Things in Munich are busy, lots of traveling, lots of events, and plenty of work to be done here at the universities. Thanks to all the people giving feedback about the discogs mp3 tagging software, I've fixed the bugs and updated it.
New version of SubSim is available, and PAL: Physics Abstraction Layer has also been updated.

Nullarbor game development and demo competition has grown: it now has a graphics and music component. Its also now taking place in the Perth Convention Exhibition Centre, as part of GO3 Electronic Entertainment Expo 2007! So start working on your demo now!

Arrived in Munich, I am now at TUM - RCS. Had a great trip through the middle east: Egypt, Jordan, Syria and Turkey. (photos when I get back to Perth)

Life has been busy, I'm about to leave for the middle east and europe for a while. Started out a new club based at UWA EECE designed to build a community around the EECE school. Take a look at PINTS - Perth Information Technology Societe. We've held three BBQ seminars so far: Motorola, JRB/MRX, and Verve. I'm frantically trying to get some last minute things done before I go.

Finally, some spare time to work on the website. (ie: write this paragraph) Newer version of
discogs mp3 tagging software, now with UTF8-ISO support.
Am currently teaching High Performance Embedded Systems and tutoring Intelligent Robotics, trying to do some research work, basically between nullarbor, research, and the start of semster I've managed to have 0 spare time. Added my nullarbor productions to the demoscene section.

- The West Australian game development and graphics competition : Nullarbor took place today!

- Big Day Out 06 is over, got last minute notice that we were doing vision mixing (not VJing!) so I was there again this year, although wasn't doing anything impressive. Photos will be up soon. nullarbor news: Microsoft are now sponsoring the event, and there might be more exposure avenues with Propelarts Youth Week.

- The Perth MASSIVE is over, got more than 285 people before we stopped counting, and it was a really great event, lots of new faces, lots of old faces, big thanks to the three major sponsors :
WebCentral - they offered some great prizes too,
ECU - first on board, helped made sure the event would happen, and supporting the nullarbor game and demoparty as well,
and LastPixel for comming in at the last minute and
Big thanks must go to the organizations that made an effort as well, plus I dont think Paul Donnelly got credit on the night, but he was there taking part, trying to find supporters and made the logos. Thanks Paul!
And now with the next bit of community news, the nullarbor game development competition and demoparty was announced last night, and I've got some promises to enter already, so it should go good. Time to start spreading the word. (1st place is $500 cash!).

More bugfixes for the mp3 taggers, supports direct URL and works even when Discogs search engine is down. I'm now on audioscrobbler, and started a blog. Might have an update for PAL or some tutorials about code related things soon.

Released a simpler, easier to use version of the music tagging tool. Similar to the music collection organization except it is integrated with the windows explorer shell. Now there is a complete music playlist,renaming, and tagging solution.

Released the music collection organization tool. Started off as a playlist generator, and slowly built up into a much bigger product. Also updated photo pages.

- Haven't been updating the webpage much, been writing some articles, and mostly keeping my music taste up to date. Also, now I'm famous. See if you can spot me in under a minute. I should release a playlist generation tool soon.

- Back from the holiday, but been sick for a while now, so productivity is pritty low. Added photos from the holiday and updated a few bits on the personal pages. Fixed a bug in my web page generating program.

- Updated some of the css code for the webpage, now I can have pictures!
Still working on the S3TC image compressor, added a data to C-header file converter tool.
The demo engine is back in development, but I will be going down south for Easter.
In physics news, true axis have released their physics SDK.

- BDO is over. Fifth year VJ'ing. Finally took some photos. This year was also the first we didn't use our own software. Didn't get the time to finish it off.

- SubSim an autonomous submarine simulation system has been released. You can get the 1.0 version here. Big Day Out 05 is comming up next weekend. I will try and get around to putting up some screenshots and photos this year.
